About the Artist

I am a craft artist stationed in Lawrence, Kansas and a graduate of the University of Kansas I create work with respect for the materials through their expressive use. This respect is taken into the craft of my work resulting in excellent quality. The attention that goes into each piece results in artwork that will be enjoyed for many years. Pieces are designed to last as long as possible so that they do not have to be replaced but rather can be passed down to function for many generations.

Good quality furniture and art work appreciate in value over time. I design work to maintain its integrity in construction and appearance through time. Thus, any purchase of my work is a solid investment. I can also design a piece to fit a specific need or space so there is no need to settle for something that doesn't quite fit in your environment. Most of the materials I use are natural and are harvested using sustainable methods so that my work does its best to respect the natural environment as well.
